Role and Responsibilities

• Understanding business requirements, and translating business problems in a way that they can be addressed using data Identifying data sources and data sets, and procuring and cleaning data in an appropriate manner Exploratory data analysis and building hypothesis Model building, including statistical and machine learning models Building dashboards (using Shiny / golem) and reports Communicating results of models and analyses in a way that can be easily understood by line managers. Working with operational and other teams to translate data insights into business outcomes In addition to this, this role requires candidates to be very strong R programmers, with an added emphasis on building quick dashboards and reports. The person will also need to work with data engineering to help build and maintain the data warehouse in a manner that is business-friendly and easy to use.
